About Melodee

As a Namibian living in Asia for the first time, I expected to experience intense culture shock. Six months later – nothing. I love the Philippines and thoroughly enjoy teaching ESL again after 3 years teaching mainstream English and coordinating the Middle Years Programme at my previous school. I hope to make this another 6 year sojourn.
I find the ESL programme quite different in that it is a full withdrawal programme; I’ve always worked inclusively with partial pull-out. There are definite benefits to both methods.
Why am I blogging? Hopefully to engage in reflective thinking about teaching and learning through technology and also to engage my compatriots in the Masters course in some critical discussions.
